A Cozumel native and lifelong angler, Captain Mike has spent over ten years exploring and guiding the island’s northern lagoons and flats. His knowledge of tides, fish behavior, and local conditions is unmatched. Known for his patience and precision, Mike is as skilled at spotting fish as he is at helping clients make the perfect cast.
Originally from Colorado, Keith brings decades of freshwater guiding experience to Cozumel’s unique fishery.
As creator of the Saltwater Fly Casting Mastery Course, he specializes in helping anglers transition their freshwater skills to the salt. Keith’s teaching style combines technical expertise with clear, practical instruction.
Ruben purchased the company in 2018 and his lifelong experience working on commercial fishing boats has laid the perfect foundation for continued success in carrying on the vision of Captain Tortuga who was the creator of Flyfishing Uno Mas
Nely is the wife of Ruben and co-owner of the business and brings her organizational style to Flyfishing Uno Mas and keeps the internal workings of the company running smoothly.

What a cool place to fish with a lot of fishery options from Permit, Bonefish, and Tarpon to Grouper and Snapper all the way to Tuna and Dolphin!
