Permit are the hardest fish to catch, so it is always a cause for celebration when a client catches one. There are certain times of the year when Permit are more prevalent and that is just one of the reasons they are difficult to catch. Unless they are in a school, they are usually moving fast. By the time you realize it is a Permit it is usually gone before you can get a cast to one.
